I have received notice from First Look (HarperCollins Publishers) that they will be sending me an “Advanced Readers Edition” of Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman. So far I have read and reviewed two books featured by the First Look program: The Red Power Murders by Thomas King and Oh Pure and Radiant Heart by Lydia Millet. Any reader is eligible and there is no obligation to have your reviews published beyond the HarperCollins website.
When you visit the site, you are invited to read blurbs and select books you would like to review. Your impressions can be short or long and in any style.
HarperCollins reserves the right to publish your review, quote from it or edit it. The program runs on a lottery system so there is no guarantee that you will receive the book you request. These books may not be resold.

Congrats on the Neil Gaiman, hope you enjoy it! I have yet to read anything by him, but I am planning to start with “Coraline” just as soon as I get the IFOA authors’ books out of the way.
BTW, I love the “First Look” program, too, but I couldn’t finish the last book I opted for,Gautam Malkani’s “Londonstani” (trying to make sense of the urban lingo sprinkled so liberally through the book was a daunting task!)
