This week’s question is suggested by Island Editions:
Do you have a favourite book, now out of print, that you would like to see become available again? (I have several…)
I don’t have a favorite by my husband does. He reads the historical children’s series by Ronald Welch which starts with I Am David. Just last week he found Welch’s Elizabethan adventure, The Galleon, at the public library. It’s a good thing too. These books cost up to $100.00 from rare bookshops. And no, he is not even tempted to steal it to complete his collection. He’s just not that kind of guy.
Whoa! You’ll have to make it a very special present for him 😉
Wow. That’s an expensive book. But be persistent. Sometimes online sellers won’t know what they have.
Happy BTT.
Actually I’m very lucky. Now that he’s read it at the library, I’m not sure that he wants to own it anymore. We’ll see. If pussreboots is correct, I will indulge him for sure.
I agree with pussreboots. A few books I possess are very rare. Not many are aware of that!

Yay for your husband! I love to meet (even vicariously) honest people. What good’s an expensive book on the shelf if it cheapens its owner.
Happy Holidays, Cereal Girl. (Just in case I don’t get back this way before Christmas) I’ve been so bad at blogging lately that it’s a possibility.

Now I’ll have to visit your blog again and see what those rarities are. Interesting.

Happy holidays to you too. I find most people are honest. The dishonest ones just seem to be very active so they take up more space!
